OBJECTIVES
In my capacity as a design assistant, my objective was to make creative contributions to the magazine's design aspects, with a specific focus on developing a logo variant that resonated with the magazine's Global Citizenship theme. This endeavor involved close collaboration with the Creative Director and Editor-in-Chief. Additionally, I took on the responsibility of designing page layouts and creating an illustrative representation of a world map to highlight Pepperdine University's diverse student demographics. The overarching goal was to elevate the magazine's visual aesthetics and thematic cohesiveness, ultimately resulting in the delivery of a captivating and engaging publication.
DELIVERABLES
The deliverables for this project encompass a range of creative contributions to the magazine's design, including a distinctive logo variant aligned with the Global Citizenship theme. These deliverables also feature meticulously designed page layouts that enhance the visual appeal and readability of the publication. Furthermore, an illustrative world map highlighting Pepperdine University's student demographics will be provided. These design elements collectively serve to enrich the magazine's visual presentation and thematic consistency, resulting in the creation of a compelling and engaging publication that aligns with the goals of the project.

In my role as a design assistant, my continuous objective was to broaden my design responsibilities by developing larger magazine spreads that prominently featured substantial artwork and extended narratives. This entailed skillfully integrating portraits, ensuring the seamless incorporation of attributions on every page in an aesthetically pleasing fashion, and creatively designing layouts that accentuated quotes and illustrations. The ultimate aim was to elevate the magazine's visual impact and storytelling potential, delivering captivating and visually appealing content to its readers.
DELIVERABLES
The deliverables for this ongoing project consisted of a series of expanded magazine spreads, each showcasing substantial artwork and extended stories. These spreads were meticulously designed to seamlessly incorporate portraits, attributions, quotes, and illustrations in an aesthetically pleasing manner. The result was a visually engaging and enriched magazine content that significantly enhanced the overall storytelling capabilities of the publication, providing readers with visually captivating and compelling narratives.
